Las Vegas saw something new last week Feb 18, 2015 at the Glamour and Glow event put on by host Dave Soko at LAX Luxor Hotel and Casino. Wearable technology is now in demand. A line formed outside the entrance of Rapids Theatre in downtown Niagara Falls on a crisp night in early September. While the crowd appeared tame, everyoneâs inner spirit animals were bursting through neon chests. Others adorned their necks with glow stick necklaces and bravely painted their faces with skull candy makeup, adapting the theme for the evening, “Dia de los Muertos.” Leaking through the doors of the theatre were the sounds of hypnotic trance and electronic dance music, and outside to taunt everyone was a hunchback zombie who craggily crooned us with his grotesque noises and charmingly ghoulish good looks. The all-inclusive, art, music, and live performance fashion extravaganza Glamour and Glow had arrived for its second year in Western New York.Read it!
EDM times Runway = Another successful year in Niagara Falls.
Last week Buffalo welcomed back the highly popular Glamour & Glow Fashion/EDM night life event that rocked the city on its debut there just one year prior. This year, the show upgraded to the infamous Rapids Theatre, a massive venue with an eerie reputation (it has been proven to be haunted by the popular SYFY show, Ghost Hunt,and also gave a few problems to Hardwell back in April).Read it!

West Coast Club Life held it's "Glamour and Glow" event last evening and it delivered all the sensory stimulation it had promised. Models displayed the hippest clothing, swimwear, and art. Glowing body paint and theatrical fiber optic hair extensions were thrown into the dramatic showcase. 3-D visual props, sculpture, and paintings surrounded the affair for a constant barrage of visual wonderment.Read it!

More and more one realizes that when attending a WestCoastClubLife event organized by Dave Soko, one is going to get a little more than what is expected. In the case of Glamour and Glow it was a lot more. How to describe the visual excess and revelry of dozens of beautiful young women prancing around mostly in glowing body paint, posing for photos, seductively dancing on the runway in between fashion shows, or just hanging out on the dance floor. The World Beat Center was hot, but for more than just the lack of air conditioning. The atmosphere rocked with great music, bodies dancing non-stop, glow in the dark people and art, and just a joyous, exhilarating ambiance of sheer delight and fun.Read it!
